How to Find Your iPhone Model Number

Method 1: In iPhone Settings

  1. Open the Settings app

  2. Tap General

  3. Tap About

  4. Look for:

    • Model Name – e.g., iPhone 13 Pro Max

    • Model Number – e.g., MLL83X/A
      Tap the model number to reveal the A-model code, like A2484

Model number will appear as "ML…" or similar – tap it to see the “A” number (e.g., A2342)

Method 2: On the iPhone Body or SIM Tray

  • For older iPhones (iPhone 7 and earlier), check the back of the phone near the bottom. It will show something like “Model A1660”.

  • For newer iPhones (iPhone 8 and up), the model number is printed in tiny text in the SIM card tray.
