Check the rear or beneath the battery

  • On older models with removable batteries, peel off the back cover to see a sticker listing the model number (typically also begins with SM‑).

  • Newer models usually have the model number printed on the back near the bottom.

On the retail box or receipt

  • The original packaging typically includes a label with Model number, IMEI, and Serial number.
